Notice of Rule Proposal
2005-2006 Game Code – Proposed Amendments : N.J.A.C 7:25-5
Public Notice
Take notice that the NJ Fish and Game Council is proposing amendments
to N.J.A.C 7:25-5, the 2005-2006 Game Code. A statement of the
substance of the proposal follows: The Fish and Game Council,
in response to harvest totals from the 2004-2005 hunting and
trapping seasons, and scientific information provided by the
Division of Fish and Wildlife, will proposed to revise the Game
Code for the 2005-2006 hunting and trapping seasons. Changes
will affect season length, harvest limits and/or changes in
weaponry and make calender date adjustments to existing seasons.
The proposed 2005-2006 Game Code, N.J.A.C. 7:25-5, states when,
under what circumstances, in what locations, by what means,
and what amounts and numbers, game-birds, game animals and fur-bearing
animals may be pursued, taken, killed or had in possession.
The proposal is scheduled to be published in the New Jersey
Register dated June 6, 2005. A copy of the proposal is available
from the Division
of Fish and Wildlife’s website(PDF);

and Westlaw Publishing at 1-800-808-West. Be advised that there
may be a fee for obtaining a copy of the proposal from some
sources.
A public hearing concerning the proposal is scheduled as follows:
